This business boasts one of the most exciting portfolios in the spirits industry and owns some of the leading brands in their category. My client has a pipeline of exciting NPD consistently rolling out to help deliver high growth for the business.
The Role
They are looking for an ambitious individual to join as a Key Account Manager in the on-trade team managing large managed groups across the UK. You will be required to build and manage customer and wholesaler relationships to grow sales, advocacy, and partnership activation amongst this influential community. This will be done by increasing brand distribution and visibility, as well as driving sales of the business's brands in the customer base.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts by delivering the customer strategy and activation plans (Menu presence, Samplings, Brand Visibility, Trade Shows, Competitions)
- Drive sales in in-out trade outlets across key small managed groups with the goal to achieve preferred partner status.
- Manage customer P&L's to unlock and deliver growth.
- Grow distribution & activation in the most influential retailers.
- Manage budget to achieve overall sales targets.
- Identify opportunities in your customer base.
- Build relationships with Brand Ambassadors in the industry to execute activations.
- Deliver expert advice on the spirits industry to customers and consumers.
- Plan and manage workload to meet key trade times.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in the Spirits/Drinks industry with extensive knowledge in the space.
- Strong commercial negotiation skills.
- Experience activating brands in the on-trade scene.
- Understanding of how to build a brand.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership and work independently.
- Good presentation skills.
This role will be remote and can be based anywhere in England.
