Job Description: [REMOTE] Account Executive – Commercial Security Sales
Location: Remote; Must live near Vancouver
1st Year OTE: C$100,000- C$140,000; Future OTE: C$150,000-C$200,000
Base Salary: C$70,000- C$85,000 + Uncapped Commissions (paid monthly) + Quarterly Bonus Plans
Benefits: Medical, Dental, Disability, HSA, RRSP matching up to 3%, Holidays, PTO

Description
Our client, a prominent international manufacturer of security solutions, is looking for a Remote Account Executive to join their team in Canada. You’ll be responsible for identifying and managing partnerships across financial institutions, government, high-risk sites, and large retailers. Average sales are anywhere from C$5-10k upwards of C$2M with sales cycles from a few months to a few years.
Spending 75% on new business development, they’re looking for candidates within the commercial security industry who can leverage their product knowledge and consultative, solution engineering approach to build trust and create buy-in with new clients across the region. Whether you have sales experience or have been a technician in the industry and are looking for your shot in sales, you’d be joining a multi-faceted service provider and manufacturer that has a deep portfolio allowing for much more cross-selling opportunities. For other security providers, you typically have one solution with less repeat business. You’ll have the best of both worlds here – repeat business with less limitations.
Responsibilities
- Identify and close new partnerships to build regional sales
- Develop and manage a targeted client prospect list and sales pipeline
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and promote complete service/product portfolio
- Assess and address potential clients' security, operational, and financial goals
- Maintain regular communication with clients to deliver exceptional service
- Collaborate with operations to ensure successful project completion
- Develop sales strategies to increase new business development
- Identify industry competitors and market conditions
- Meet revenue targets and measurable non-revenue KPIs
Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B security solutions experience (locks, architectural hardware, access controls, alarms, video surveillance, and/or vaults, etc.) required
- Consultative sales or technical experience within security solutions required
- 50% travel required (typically day trips)
