Based in Cornwall, the family business employs around 150 people. Our industry leading ‘Tomahawk’ bale processors are the first choice for farmers around the world, operating in over 100 countries. We provide exceptional service and spare parts support through our comprehensive dealer network.



Role Description


Development of our market share in North America is essential to our ambitious export strategy. An exciting opportunity has now arisen due to the retirement, after 14 years, of our Sales Manager responsible for sales in US & Canadian markets. The position is self-employed and working from a home office. The location must have good access to a regional airport, and the applicant must be prepared to spend a significant time (2-3 weeks out of 4) travelling to provide Distributor support for trade shows, demonstration days, and dealer development.



The successful applicant will:



  • Be the face of Teagle in North America, with responsibility for implementing sales strategies and marketing initiatives

  • Maintain and promote an established Distributor network along with their dealers in sales of Teagle Products

  • Manage costs, marketing programmes, sales forecasts, and margins to ensure a profitable outcome

  • Generate and nurture sales leads, attending exhibitions, making dealer presentations, and undertaking farm demonstrations

  • Provide technical backup for our distributors. Factory support is provided from the UK in all aspects of the role

  • Have a strong working knowledge of North American agriculture and livestock husbandry, as well as the distributor and dealer networks that serve them



Skills & Experience



  • A valid passport, driving licence, and legal residency are essential

  • Excellent computer skills

  • The successful candidate will have a background in Sales, with some technical experience, be self-motivated, able to organise their diary efficiently and make their own travel plans
