Note: This is a full-time remote role, candidate ideally based in DC area.
Clearance: Active Secret or TS/SCI clearance preferred but not required. Must be a US Citizen capable of obtaining a security clearance.

Primary Function
The primary function of a Solution Consultant is to represent Subject Matter Expertise in the Siemens Teamcenter PLM solution and associated technologies, to deliver high quality, value driven solutions, presentations, and messaging of the Siemens PLM and Digital Engineering capabilities in support of the customers objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to gather business and technical requirements, determine business needs and architect appropriate solutions within the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio.
- Utilizing advanced knowledge of customer business needs, engineering and manufacturing processes, industry best practices, and competitive differentiation to lead pursuit teams that will prepare and deliver compelling proposals in support of customer implementations.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of customer and Industry configuration management processes and strategies.
- Establish and build a trusted advisor and credible business and technical consultant relationship with clients and sales executives.
- Oversee and guide the client in the selection of appropriate solutions and suites of technology.
- Lead the development and delivery of presentations, demonstrations, proof of concepts, and proposals.
- Advise the delivery team on required project scope and assist with implementation estimating and execution.
Required Experience:
- Excellent verbal group presentation and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills that positively influence teams with a common understanding of successful account management principles.
- 3+ years of expertise using PLM Tools (Teamcenter).
- 5+ years of expertise in BOM Management, Change Management, Workflow.
- 7+ years of experience in PLM space, which includes managing proof of concepts, defining the requirements and scope of PLM Solutions deployment, as well as being part of the selection process.
- BS/BA (or relevant Technical Degree) in related engineering, manufacturing, or computer science related discipline.
- Must have a proven record of presenting technology solutions in front of groups while incorporating specific selling techniques.
- Self-starter, motivated and able to work with a minimum of direct supervision.
- Experience leading teams of technical and business consultants from within, and outside of their formal organization.
- Must be able to work remote (virtual office).
- Must be open to an average of 25% - 40% travel, domestic.
Preferred Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in the Aerospace and Defense Industry.
- Experience as a Pre-Sales Consultant or Implementation Consultant within the PLM space.
- Proven success and experience in an Engineering/Software Solutions role.
Clearance Information:
This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The DCSA Adjudication and Vetting Services (DCSA AVS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Remote / Hybrid work environment. In-person collaboration is required to support engagement with the team. In addition to in-office days, employees have the flexibility to telework (with supervisor approval) on designated days or as needed, provided they adhere to established communication protocols and fulfill their work responsibilities effectively. Additionally, travel may be required to customer and subcontractor sites as well as other office locations.
Remote Work Video Meeting Requirement:
Employees in remote roles are expected to actively participate in video meetings as part of their regular job responsibilities. This includes maintaining a professional presence on camera, ensuring a stable internet connection, and engaging in discussions as required. Video meetings are essential for collaboration, team alignment, and maintaining effective communication across distributed teams.
