Your Work
The BDR will lead efforts to engage nonprofits, helping them enhance community engagement through a marketing platform. The role focuses on generating business opportunities for the sales team by initiating conversations, understanding customer challenges, and demonstrating the software’s value.

Your Experience
- 1+ years experience in a quota carrying Business Development or sales role where you consistently hit or exceeded performance targets
- Experience using tools like SalesLoft, Outreach.io, or similar to perform sales touchpoints
- Direct experience engaging both cold prospects and marketing-generated prospects

Your Day
- Prospecting: Research and identify potential leads, organizations, and decision-makers within the nonprofit sector. Utilize various tools and techniques to discover new business opportunities.
- Outreach: Make a high volume of outbound calls, emails, and social media messages to connect with leads. Craft compelling messages and pitches to generate interest in the digital marketing software.
- Lead Qualification: Engage with leads to determine their level of interest, budget, and authority, qualifying them based on predefined criteria.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the features, benefits, and unique selling points of the digital marketing software, able to articulate how it addresses the specific needs of nonprofit organizations.
- Follow-ups: Follow up with leads who have shown interest but have not yet made a decision. Maintain regular communication to nurture relationships and progress leads through the sales funnel.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, account executives, and marketing professionals to align strategies, share insights, and ensure a cohesive approach in reaching sales goals.
Salary Range
The base salary for this position is $50,000, dependent on experience and credentials. Additionally, the role offers health/dental/vision insurance and other benefits like a professional development budget, office food, and social events.

This position is Remote, available to candidates located in Eastern and Central time zones, or with the option to work from the headquarters in Gainesville, FL. Gainesville is known for its innovative population and attainable standard of living.
