About The Role

Supademo is searching for a Senior Software Engineer — who will build and lead our customer success function from the ground up. This is the perfect opportunity for engineers who want to leap into the world of early-stage startups: building products from scratch, shipping features for tens of thousands of users, high degree of autonomy, all within a small team. You’ll have an opportunity to help build and ship features directly used by thousands of users. Success in this role will naturally lead to rapid progression and leadership opportunities. You will report directly to the CTO.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop performant, full-stack products and features from scratch using Next.js, React, and TailwindCSS


• Design and implement scalable backend solutions using Node.js and PlanetScaleDB


• Transform PRDs and ideas into full-fledged features through collaboration, iteration, and applying previous design practices


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement new features


• Optimize application performance and implement efficient state management solutions


• Leverage AI tools like Cursor or Replit to amplify your capabilities to write clean, efficient, scalable code

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on frontend roles (ideally at fast-paced startups)


• Proficiency in React, Next.js, and Node.js, with a strong understanding of state management


• Experience building scalable microservices and backend architecture (e.g., APIs, microservices, etc.)


• You have built products or features from scratch and worked through all phases of product development


• You have strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders


• You're able to handle copious amounts of ambiguity in making tradeoffs and decisions
