Role Overview
As a Sales & Recruitment Specialist, you will be responsible for driving business development through cold calling and securing new clients, as well as recruiting and placing nurses and healthcare professionals. This is a hybrid role that requires the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in both sales and recruitment. You will play a key role in expanding SpeedStaff Inc.’s client base while ensuring the seamless recruitment of qualified nurses for various positions.
This role is made for a hyper motivated individual to grow extremely quickly with one of the fastest growing companies in North America. If successful, this candidate should have a quick promotion within 1 year.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Responsibilities:
- Cold Calling: Proactively reach out to potential clients via phone, email, and networking to generate leads and secure new business for the company.
- Team Organization: Work directly with an Account Executive and President to help close deals you have set appointments for.
- Lead Generation: Work with leadership and marketing to identify new opportunities.
- CRM Management: Be proficient in a known CRM.
Recruitment Responsibilities:
- Nurse Recruitment: Source, and recruit qualified nurses and healthcare professionals to fill client staffing needs, ensuring high-quality matches.
- Candidate Screening & Placement: Conduct thorough background checks, reference checks, and skills assessments to ensure candidates meet the required qualifications and certifications.
- Onboarding Support: Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including documentation, orientation, and ensuring all compliance standards are met.
- Ongoing Candidate Support: Maintain positive relationships with placed candidates, providing support and addressing any concerns or issues that arise during their assignments.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales or business development, ideally in a healthcare or staffing-related field.
- Previous experience in recruiting, particularly within the healthcare sector, is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A results-driven mindset with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets.
- Knowledge of recruitment software and applicant tracking systems is a plus.
- A deep understanding of healthcare staffing requirements and compliance regulations is beneficial but not required.
