Job Description: Overview
As an Associate Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying and qualifying sales opportunities for Sigma Squared’s innovative solutions across all three of our verticals; Law Enforcement, Food & Beverage and Enterprise. You’ll be responsible for conducting discovery conversations, developing engaging strategies, nurturing relationships with decision-makers, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams. In our dynamic startup environment, you’ll need to be a self-starter with a passion for solving customer challenges, creating your own direction, and thriving with minimal infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Independently identify, prospect, and qualify new enterprise opportunities.
- Prospecting Rigor: Develop creative strategies for engaging and nurturing prospects using email, phone, social media and any other strategies.
- Sales Engagement: Conduct effective discovery and qualification conversations with our prospects through a deep understanding of our product's value proposition and use cases.
- Self-Serving Execution: Leverage HubSpot CRM to manage your pipeline, create sales materials, and track performance metrics.
- Market Intelligence: Stay up to date on industry trends, customer pain points, and competitive insights to refine your approach.
- Product Influence: Utilize your intimate understanding of customers' needs to inform the broader team of learnings and potential business opportunities.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in B2B SaaS business development and lead generation.
- Proven success in a self-directed role, particularly within a startup or resource-constrained environment.
- Exceptional communication, executive presence and presentation skills.
- Experience with HubSpot CRM (or similar platforms) for pipeline management and reporting.
- A problem-solving mindset, entrepreneurial spirit, and ability to thrive in ambiguity.
