As the Senior Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading the company in product strategy and driving global business growth. The position will play a crucial role in aligning product initiatives with market opportunities, forging strategic partnerships with the brands and maximizing revenue through effective business development strategies.
You have a passion for sustainable products and working with brands to implement materials to make it a reality. The right candidate thrives working within a small fast-paced international environment, having the ability to make decisions, and is able to work creatively and independently. This position will require domestic and international travel.

Responsibilities (Including but not limited to):
Business Development and Partnerships
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, potential markets and strategic partnerships to drive growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in Brands, including partners, suppliers and customers to explore collaboration and expansion opportunities.
Go-to-Market Strategy
- Collaborate with marketing to develop effective go-to-market strategies, product positioning, pricing strategies and marketing campaigns.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to the development teams to ensure successful product launches and market presentations.
- Attend relevant industry tradeshows as the Brand ambassador.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including innovation, development, testing and the Asia Technical team to ensure alignment and execution of business development strategies.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative cross-culture environment to encourage teamwork.
Stakeholder Management
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, partners, suppliers and customers to understand their needs, gather feedback and build strong relationships.
- Advocate for the company’s products and services, leveraging relationships to drive business development opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering, polymer or material science, or other similar technical degree
- 10+ years of experience working in the footwear industry, rubber compounding industry, or other similar field
- Experience with rubber compounding, outsole compounding, production, and physical testing of rubber
- Demonstrated expertise in managing a product development project from conception to commercialization
- Excellent communication skills when working with brand partners
- Passion for sustainable product development
- Written and verbal fluency in English; knowledge of a secondary language is helpful.
- Travel expectations: 40-50% (USA, Europe and some Asia travel)
