LUMAN is a leading manufacturer of high-quality automotive components, specializing in filters, brake pads, and other critical vehicle parts. With a strong presence in international markets, we are now expanding into the USA and seeking a Country Manager to drive growth, establish key partnerships, and lead our market entry strategy.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and well-connected leader with a proven track record in selling auto components to fleet owners, repair shop, and retail outlets chains through Warehouse distributors in the Automotive Aftermarket. The ideal candidate will have deep industry expertise, strong relationships, and the ability to build a high-performing sales and distribution network in the US.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Sales Growth
- Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for LUMAN’s expansion in the US.
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships with Retailers, fleet owners, and distributors.
- Drive B2B sales by onboarding key players in the auto components supply chain.
- Expand LUMAN’s footprint in repair shop chains and independent auto aftermarket networks.
- Market & Competitive Strategy
- Conduct market research to understand demand trends, pricing strategies, and competitor positioning.
- Define a pricing and distribution strategy to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Work with the leadership team to refine LUMAN’s product positioning in the US market.
- Distribution & Logistics Development
- Establish relationships with auto parts distributors and logistics partners.
- Optimize supply chain efficiency by coordinating with LUMAN’s manufacturing units and fulfillment centers.
- Identify potential warehouse locations or 3PL partnerships for order fulfillment.
- Brand Building & Customer Engagement
- Represent LUMAN at auto industry exhibitions, trade shows, and networking events.
- Build strong relationships with automotive associations and industry influencers.
- Develop customer engagement strategies to ensure high retention and satisfaction.
- Team Leadership & Expansion
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales and support team.
- Set sales targets and performance KPIs for business growth.
- Collaborate with global teams to align marketing, operations, and logistics efforts.
Key Requirements
Industry & Sales Experience
- 10+ years of experience in the US auto components industry, with a strong focus on selling to OEMs, fleet owners, and large distributors.
- Established relationships with decision-makers in automotive supply chains.
- Prior experience in scaling a business or launching a new brand in the US market is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong negotiation and deal-closing skills with large accounts.
- Deep understanding of pricing, distribution channels, and fleet management procurement.
- Ability to build and manage a team while working independently.
- Knowledge of import regulations, compliance, and supply chain logistics in the US.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business, Automotive Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
- Prior experience in working with automotive brands in the aftermarket.
