Company Description


We are working with a mission driven start-up in the climate-tech space working on removing CO2. The company is working on scaling their solutions and expansion, which is where this Senior Account Executive comes in. As part of the Go-To-Market Sales team, you will be focusing on developing new business on the UK & Ireland market.



Your day to day responsibilities:



  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with carbon storage partners.

  • Achieve sales targets for your assigned region and manage the sales pipeline.

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales approach, from prospecting, lead generation to deal closure.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, aligning with their strategic goals.

  • Advise partners on maximizing revenue and improving margins through our technology.

  • Oversee the customer lifecycle to ensure long-term satisfaction and success.

  • Define and recommend optimal CO2 storage solutions tailored to partner operations.

  • Lead the development of the UK market in collaboration with the CRO and business development team.

  • Represent the company at industry events and professional associations in the UK.



Qualifications



  • 3+ years of direct B2B enterprise sales experience with C-level stakeholders in a full-cycle sales role.

  • At least 3-4+ years of sales experience required with experience in closing deals (full sales-cycle/Account Executive role).

  • Existing network and understanding of the construction industry is preferred.

  • Experience selling carbon projects or hardware sales is a plus.

  • A sustainability consulting background with experience of business development experience (client acquisition) is also a desired background.

  • Experience in long sales cycle of at least 6 months with C-level and enterprise clients.

  • Proven track record in selling technical projects or services within complex sales cycles.

  • Strong ability to drive pipeline growth and consistently achieve sales targets.

  • Experience in building trusted executive relationships.

  • Expertise and proven success in opening and developing new markets.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a high-growth environment, with a desire to introduce a new technology and product to the market.

  • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

  • Willingness to travel within the assigned region (up to 40%) to customers.
