Location: North America (Flexible)

Influx Search is partnering with a global leader in water and wastewater technology solutions, seeking a Vice President Sales, North America to spearhead sales strategy, develop key markets, and drive business growth across the region.

The Role


As VP Sales, North America, you will take ownership of the region’s sales strategy, customer engagement, and revenue performance. Leading a dynamic team, you will work closely with engineering, marketing, and operational divisions to ensure the company’s solutions are positioned as the preferred choice in the market.



Snapshot of what you'll be doing:



  • Developing and executing a high-impact sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets across North America.

  • Leading and mentoring a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence and customer focus.

  • Building strong relationships with key clients, municipalities, utilities, and industrial customers, driving long-term partnerships.

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities, including strategic partnerships and large-scale contracts.

  • Monitoring market trends, regulatory changes, and industry advancements, adjusting sales approaches accordingly.

  • Collaborating with global and regional teams to align sales efforts with broader company objectives.

  • Utilising data-driven decision-making to track performance, improve processes, and enhance customer engagement.

  • Championing innovation and sustainability within the sales function, ensuring alignment with evolving customer needs.



We're ideally looking for:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • Extensive experience in senior sales leadership, ideally within the water, wastewater, or environmental technology industries.

  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and lead complex sales cycles, including municipal, industrial, and infrastructure clients.

  • Strong leadership skills, with a track record of managing and developing successful sales teams.

  • A strategic mindset with deep market insights, ensuring competitive positioning and long-term sustainability.

  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building abilities, with experience in high-value contract management.

  • A results-driven and customer-centric approach, ensuring client satisfaction and business expansion.



This is a remote role based in North America, with regional and international travel required to meet business objectives.
