Compensation: Primarily equity-based during incubation; cash compensation and bonuses post-incubation



About the Company:


This role is for a new portfolio company of Healthpoint Ventures, currently in its incubation stage. The company is focused on delivering AI-driven revenue cycle management (RCM) solutions to hospitals and healthcare systems. We are seeking a highly skilled SVP of RCM Sales to lead revenue strategy, market validation, and customer engagement. This role requires a 3-6 month commitment to discovery and strategy development, followed by a full-time leadership position post-incubation.



Role Overview:


The SVP of RCM Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth, executing go-to-market strategies, and establishing key customer relationships with hospitals and health systems. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience selling RCM solutions to hospital CFOs, revenue cycle leaders, and financial executives, with a proven track record of closing high-value deals and scaling sales teams.



Key Responsibilities:



Market Discovery & Validation:



  • Lead a 3-6 month discovery process to assess market needs and validate product-market fit for AI-driven RCM solutions.

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify key challenges in hospital revenue cycle management, competitive landscapes, and emerging trends.

  • Engage directly with hospital CFOs, revenue cycle leaders, and decision-makers to refine the value proposition and ensure market alignment.



Revenue Strategy Development:



  • Develop and implement a comprehensive revenue strategy tailored to hospital RCM pain points and financial workflows.

  • Identify key market segments, craft hospital-focused sales plans, and execute go-to-market strategies.



Customer Engagement & Acquisition:



  • Own and lead customer acquisition efforts, focusing on closing the first 5-10 hospital clients.

  • Build and nurture C-level relationships with hospital CFOs, revenue cycle VPs, and financial administrators.

  • Lead the sales cycle from initial outreach to contract negotiation and deal closure.



Sales Leadership & Scaling:



  • Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing RCM sales team as the company scales.

  • Establish sales processes, tools, and metrics to optimize efficiency and performance.



Cross-Functional Collaboration:



  • Work closely with the CEO and executive team to align revenue strategies with overall business goals.

  • Partner with product development and marketing to integrate customer feedback into product offerings.



Qualifications:



  • 10+ years of experience in sales, specifically within the hospital revenue cycle management (RCM) sector.

  • Proven ability to sell RCM solutions to hospital CFOs, revenue cycle executives, and healthcare finance leaders.

  • Strong track record of closing large hospital deals and exceeding sales targets.

  • Deep understanding of hospital revenue cycle workflows, reimbursement models, and financial pain points.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment with minimal supervision.

  • Willingness to work primarily for equity during incubation, with cash compensation and bonuses post-incubation.
