Job Overview
We are looking for a Solutions Architect / Sales Engineer with deep expertise in video streaming, OTT, FAST channels, and Playout to drive technical solutions for our customers. In this role, you will work closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to design, implement, and optimize video workflows for both content providers and platform partners. You will act as the technical liaison between our clients and internal teams, ensuring seamless integration and best-in-class user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Sales Support: Collaborate with sales teams to scope technical requirements, provide expert consultation, and conduct demos of our platform.
- Technical Sales Advisor: Functioning as the primary technical expert and trusted advisor for the sales team, responsible for articulating the product's value, demonstrating its capabilities, and aligning technical solutions with customer needs.
- Solution Design: Architect scalable and efficient video delivery solutions tailored to FAST channel distribution, encoding, and playout.
- Customer Enablement: Guide customers through onboarding and integration, ensuring a smooth transition into our platform.
- Workflow Optimization: Analyze and improve video workflows, addressing ingest, transcoding, metadata management, scheduling, and SSAI integration.
- Technical Documentation: Create and maintain clear technical documentation, including API guides, implementation playbooks, and best practices.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to refine our solutions and roadmap based on customer needs.
- Industry Expertise: Stay up to date with evolving video streaming standards, ad monetization trends (SSAI), and FAST market developments.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in a Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Consultant role within OTT, FAST, or broadcast media.
- Strong knowledge of video encoding, playout, CDN, and SSAI (Server-Side Ad Insertion).
- Experience working with video file formats, streaming protocols (HLS, DASH), and DRM technologies.
- Experience with cloud-based video infrastructure (AWS Media Services, Google Cloud, Azure Media).
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and media asset management.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
