Job Overview
Everest Group is looking for an experienced Account Executive to join its growing sales team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of sales experience with expertise in client expansion and retention strategies. The successful candidate will take ownership of the full sales cycle, including:
- Prospecting
- Pipeline generation
- Discovery
- Capability alignment
- Deal closure
Acting as a strategic advisor, the Account Executive will strengthen relationships with existing clients, independently identifying high-value opportunities and customizing engagement approaches to enhance client satisfaction and drive growth. Serving as a liaison between Everest Group and key stakeholders, the Account Executive will leverage advanced industry knowledge to provide tailored recommendations, anticipate market trends, and proactively address client needs. This role demands autonomy in developing sales strategies, resource allocation, and solution crafting to align with client objectives and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting and Opportunity Identification: Create prospecting strategies, outreach campaigns, and messaging to key stakeholders at current and target accounts. Use strategic judgment to identify and prioritize high value opportunities within the territory, staying informed on industry trends, competitive activities, and market shifts.
- Market and Territory Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to guide territory planning and account targeting. Formulate acquisition strategies that drive client engagement and materially impact company growth.
- Client Relationship and Account Management: Serve as the primary contact for assigned client accounts, building and strengthening relationships to drive retention and expansion. Regularly engage with clients to understand evolving needs and ensure solutions continue to align with their goals.
- Client Retention & Upsell: Lead consultative sales interactions to identify and deliver customized solutions that address client business challenges. As a trusted advisor, develop strategies to deepen client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
- Strategic Solution Alignment: Develop and present tailored solutions that align with client business objectives, demonstrating how offerings address their strategic challenges.
- Value Proposition Development: Collaboration with internal teams to create compelling, client-specific proposals and engagement plans highlighting Everest Group's unique value proposition. Make autonomous decisions on pricing that balance client needs with organizational financial targets.
- Sales Strategy Execution: Independently develop and execute complex sales strategies and drive the sales process from lead generation to closure, making strategic decisions about opportunity prioritization and resource allocation to maximize sales effectiveness and achieve company goals.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Maximizing your internal resources to drive account expansion, you will work closely with research, marketing, and product teams to ensure strategies align with organizational capabilities and market positioning.
- Tracking and Reporting: Achieving key performance indicators, tracking pipeline, client activities, and deal advancement in Salesforce for visibility, improvement, and alignment.
Requirements/Aptitude
The ideal candidate:
- Has 5+ years of sales experience
- Has a history of meeting or exceeding specific targets/quotas
- Has experience selling a complex set of technology-enabled products or services
- Is adaptable to changes in roles and responsibilities

- Has a strong capacity to learn quickly, provide feedback, and adapt to client situations
Candidates must have:
- A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Business-to-business sales experience; relevant sales experience to the role
- Demonstrated prospecting expertise and an ability to open doors
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills

Compensation
Everest Group believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000. This role also has a significant variable component with uncapped earning potential.
Remote Work and Travel (Including International)
The candidate must be comfortable with a combination of remote work and travel, with the flexibility to work from home when not traveling and travel as needed to client sites, conferences, training sessions, or company events, both domestically and internationally. The ability to maintain productivity and communication while on the road, including during international trips, is essential.
