Job Title: Channel Account Manager (Cybersecurity SaaS)
Location: United States (Remote)
Must have worked with security STARTUPS or worked in CYBER
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Channel Account Manager (CAM) to join our clients fast-growing cybersecurity SaaS startup. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the success of our clients channel partner program, building strong relationships with strategic partners, and growing our clients revenue through indirect sales channels. The ideal candidate will have experience in channel sales within the cybersecurity or SaaS industry, a proven track record of achieving sales targets, and a passion for developing scalable partner ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key channel partners, including VARs (Value-Added Resellers), MSPs (Managed Service Providers), and other cybersecurity-focused partners.
- Sales Enablement: Work closely with partners to train, enable, and support them in selling our clients cybersecurity solutions, providing them with the resources, tools, and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Revenue Growth: Drive new business opportunities and increase channel revenue by working with partners to identify and close sales deals.
- Partner Recruitment: Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners to expand our clients reach and increase market penetration.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and product teams to develop joint go-to-market strategies and partner-specific plans for growth.
- Performance Management: Monitor partner performance, track sales activities, and ensure that partners are meeting agreed-upon KPIs, sales quotas, and revenue targets.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of our clients cybersecurity SaaS product suite to effectively communicate value propositions and differentiate from competitors.
- Market Feedback: Collect feedback from channel partners on market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform product development and go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or account management in the cybersecurity or SaaS space.
- Must have worked with security STARTUPS or worked in CYBER.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets through indirect sales channels.
- Strong understanding of the cybersecurity industry, its challenges, and key players.
- Ability to build and nurture long-term relationships with channel partners and customers.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) and other sales enablement platforms.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to address challenges proactively.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a high-growth, startup environment.
- Experience with partner recruitment and program development.
- Understanding of SaaS metrics and business models.
- Certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM) or relevant partner management certifications are a plus.
