About This Position:
We are seeking a results-driven, strategic, and hands-on ecommerce Sales Manager to lead our inside sales team, drive trade and direct-to-consumer (DTC) sales, and enhance customer relationships. This role will be responsible for executing proactive sales strategies, optimizing team performance, and implementing best practices to drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have experience selling interior renovation and decorating products, managing inside sales teams, and working with architects and designers.
Location:
100% Remote. (Required to work from any location within the USA.)

General Manager
Total Compensation:
$120,000 estimated within the first 12 months (Base salary plus uncapped sales commission)
Base Salary: $75,000 - $80,000 PLUS Uncapped Commission. (YOY sales growth criteria. Commission paid monthly.) Unlimited upside potential.
What You’ll Do:
Sales & Management:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to exceed annual targets.
- Manage and train the Inside Sales Team to upsell and build lasting customer relationships.
- Implement proactive selling for trade professionals and direct-to-consumer markets.
- Oversee lead generation and follow-up to boost conversions.
- Hire, train, and support a high-performing sales team.
- Train specialists to seek, nurture, and close leads.
- Establish SOPs and best practices for sales operations.
- Use CRM and reporting tools to track KPIs and drive improvements.
- Analyze sales and market trends for forecasting and planning.
- Align sales strategies with budgets to optimize growth.
- Handle sales admin tasks, including inquiries, orders, and contracts.
- Lead sales meetings and present quarterly plans with clear objectives.
- Develop strategic partnerships to enhance brand positioning and revenue.
- Support sales reps in maintaining relationships, negotiations, and deal closures.
- Build and maintain relationships with key industry players.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Provide feedback to marketing, product, and design teams to optimize sales strategies based on market trends.
- Conduct competitive analysis and provide recommendations to grow market share.
- Collaborate with the marketing team on sales collateral, product spec sheets, and campaign materials to support the sales process.
- Monitor competitor pricing and propose adjustments to maximize profitable sales growth.
- Ensure effective cross-team communication by aligning sales efforts with broader company goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience leading an Inside Sales team, with a focus on proactive selling in a remote setting.
- Experience selling interior renovation and home decorating products.
- Proven track record of selling to trade professionals and DTC customers.
- Deep background in managing remote inside sales teams and customer service agents.
- Experience working with architects, designers, and other key industry influencers.
- Ability to work quickly, independently, and with excellent attention to detail.
- Established analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
