Our platform integrates seamlessly with existing WiFi infrastructure to provide real-time occupancy insights, helping enterprises and landlords make data-driven decisions to reduce costs and carbon footprints.



We are seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team and help accelerate our growth. If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for technology, sustainability, and sales, this role is for you!



Key Responsibilities:



  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and research potential customers through various channels, including LinkedIn, email outreach, industry events, and partnerships.

  • Outbound Sales: Conduct high-volume outreach (email, calls, LinkedIn) to engage and qualify potential leads.

  • Lead Qualification: Engage in meaningful conversations with prospects to understand their needs, qualify leads, and schedule meetings for the sales team.

  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all prospecting and sales activities in the CRM (HubSpot).

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to refine messaging, optimize outreach strategies, and improve conversion rates.

  • Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer pain points to effectively position Basking.io’s solutions.

  • Pipeline Building: Contribute to building a strong and sustainable sales pipeline by nurturing relationships with prospects and stakeholders.



Qualifications & Skills:



  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in SaaS, PropTech, or workplace analytics.

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to build rapport quickly.

  • Highly motivated, self-starter with a hunter mentality.

  • Experience using CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.

  • Ability to handle rejection and maintain persistence in outreach efforts.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Passion for technology, sustainability, and workplace innovation.

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.

  • Prefer candidates willing to work hybrid/on-site in The Woodlands, TX.
