Arbiter is a rapidly growing, nationally known sports software company headquartered in Sandy, UT. Our knowledgeable, close-knit team has built a high growth, profitable business and an exceptional company culture. Our growth and momentum have opened additional sales opportunities.
We seek a competitive Business Development Representative (BDR) to help the sales team build top of funnel opportunities with new customers. This person will be responsible for generating interest in the Arbiter platform through cold and warm outreach in a high velocity sales process. This person will be a highly motivated self-starter that is focused on meeting their daily/monthly goals.
Priorities And Deliverables
- Generate 15 qualified meetings per month via targeted prospecting.
- Hold engaging and compelling discussions with prospects and drive them to a meeting on the ArbiterSports platform.
- Maintain a daily outbound activity of 50-70 calls and the associated email, LinkedIn, and follow-up outreach to secure opportunities.

- Being coachable and having a positive daily outlook.
- Following a pre-determined sales sequence.
- Following up on all leads in a timely and professional manner.
- Demonstrating a clear understanding of prospecting, including: outbound phone activity, sending emails, and asking for the meeting.
- Maintaining self-discipline and the time management skills necessary to manage daily prospecting and associated tasks to build top of funnel opportunities.
- Responding to questions or requests of prospects as appropriate.
- Providing support to the AE and marketing teams as appropriate, for instance by coordinating outbound efforts and messaging.
- Providing weekly updates to the sales manager regarding meeting volume, conversion rates, and opportunities for growth.
- Clearly articulating any market trends or obstacles to management.
- Maintaining all account activity data in Salesforce.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associates Degree (preferred, but not required).
- Minimum of 6-months experience in software sales (within sports or K-12 education a plus).
- Track record of over-achievement in previous roles.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM solutions.
- Expertise in MS Office Suite and experience working in a remote desktop environment.
